Ed Bischoff stands in his shop, the Little Missouri Gallery in Alzada, filled with antiques and oddities he has found over the years. Bishoff grew up on his grandfather's ranch, but sold the 16,000 acres, 3,000 sheep and 500 cows when he became too old to run it. “I did miss it, but I don’t now. I think of all those years rescuing livestock out snowdrifts, and now I sit inside when it blizzards,” he said.
